It has been said that you can find about anything online. Well it's true. Anything you can imagine is avaliable to you with just a few clicks away. One of the most popular things to purchase through online auctions is computers and electronics. Computer and computer parts are so much cheaper when purchased online but not always cheaper with online auctions.

As with any online auction you have to pay careful attention to the prices of items and shop around. There are hundreds of discount and wholesale internet sites that can sell electronics and computers cheaper than you can find on auction sites. As a matter of fact I would guess that most computers and computer parts sold through major online auction sites such as eBay are purchased through online wholesale websites that are open to the public. The prices are then marked up and listed on eBay. You are still going to get a better deal than you would at a retail store but you can find better.

If you are the real do it yourselfer then you can acutally find even better deals buying individual parts from online aucitons or wholesale websites. Take each individual part and put them together to make your own computer. You will get a much better computer for a much less price. I made a lot of extra spending money growing up putting together computers for friends and family.
