Add pictures to auctions

Not earning what you think you should from auctions?

Many times similar or exact items will sell for very different prices with online auctions. What causes this to happen? There are many factors that influence the varied final prices in auctions. These include when items are listed and who is looking for those items at any given time. The seller feedback can influence buyers to bid higher because they trust them. The item description and layout and the pictures you post along with the item.

Usually with most online auctions the first picture you add to an auction is free and then for each additional picture you add there will be a small charge. The question many people ask is "is it worth extra money to add pictures to your auctions?" In my personal opinion I think it depends on the item you are selling. Small ticket items selling for under $5.00 are not worth the extra investment. Itmes selling for over $5 are worth a few extra pennies to give a more detailed description of the item. Very large ticket items are worth more so that the potential buyer will feel comfortable bidding on the item.

One trick I have used for getting more pictures for your money is combining multiple pictures into a singe picture file. You won't get as clear detailed pictures but you can have multiple angels of the product into a singel picture saving you a few cents.

No matter how many pictures add to your auctions make sure the pictures are clear and accurate. Give your potential buyers the best description and pictures as you can. This will improve bidding on your auction items bringing you a better profit.
